Why choose ONYX to Rehabilitate Your Knee?

We Teach At Local Universities and Health Science Schools

Choosing a physical therapist who teaches at a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) school ensures you're receiving care from someone at the forefront of the field. We instruct at Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions, and Northeastern University Bouvé College of Health Sciences. Our role in educating future clinicians reflects a deep understanding of best practices and a commitment to high standards of care. This expertise can lead to more precise assessments, innovative treatment strategies, and better long-term outcomes for patients.

We Specialize in Orthopedics and Sports

Selecting a physical therapist who has completed a residency ensures specialized expertise in treating knee injuries. Our residency-trained therapists underwent advanced, focused training in knee rehabilitation, working with surgeons directly. They have a deep understanding allowing for more precise and effective treatment, while lowering risk for complications. This level of specialization can lead to faster recovery, reduced risk of re-injury, and improve your overall outcome.

We are Strength and Conditioning Coaches

Choosing a physical therapist who is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) ensures a unique blend of rehabilitation and strength training expertise. This dual qualification allows the therapist to not only address injuries but also design programs that enhance overall physical performance. They understand how to safely progress clients from rehabilitation to peak function, bridging the gap between recovery and higher level activity. This approach is especially valuable for active individuals seeking to return to sport stronger and more resilient.

Jenn Gilmartin, World Beauty Fitness and Fashion Pro

“After years of battling bilateral knee issues and undergoing six surgeries—including a tibial tubercle osteotomy I never fully recovered from—I began working with Kyle at my lowest point. In just six weeks, he has completely transformed my outlook and capabilities. Kyle is an incredible listener, highly intentional, and technically skilled, tailoring every session to my specific needs. His thorough assessments and continuous adjustments to my program have been nothing short of excellent. I feel stronger than I have in years (both physically and mentally). I can't recommend him enough and I’ve worked with over a dozen physical therapists. He’s the best one.”
